We’re so excited to announce Creating Home San Diego has been selected to be a part of the 2020 Holiday Homes Tour! If you haven’t seen this event in the past, you should know why this is such a big deal. Each year, some of the most talented designers come together to overhaul north county homes with all things Christmas. Oh, and we should mention that the selected homes are absolutely beautiful — like 360-degree views, historic, unique, and custom-built. It’s every home design/ real estate lookie-loos’ dream! And Creating Home San Diego gets to be a part of it all! But what makes the Holiday Homes Tour (HHT) so important? The fact that it’s the main financial contributor to the Vista Community Clinics. It’s the difference between a woman receiving prenatal care or not. It’s making sure kiddos are taken care of during the flu season. And, most recently, it’s making sure community members are able to deal with the demanding needs of COVID. Vista needs its clinics and we’re doing everything we can to help keep them open.
This year, the HHT has the opportunity to be professionally filmed and produced. This means more people, than ever, have the opportunity to be amazed with breath-taking designs and to support a cause that is so vital to our community’s wellbeing. We’re asking everyone to help support us by purchasing your ‘ticket’ to tour five thoughtfully decorated homes from the comfort of your own home starting on December 13th. Tickets are $20 and 100% of that goes directly to the clinics. Also, just in case that wasn’t enough, we’re taking things a step further by hosting an online local vendor faire. Here you will have the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind items from skilled, hand-crafters who live in our neighborhoods. It’s your chance to support local AND have 20% of your purchase donated towards the clinics. We’ll also be posting updates on our design, how-to (recreate the look) tutorials and more as the event approaches. What better way to celebrate the holidays and give back to our community?!
